How to use UV glue?

1. At least one of the two objects to be bonded should be transparent and have a clean, dry, and grease free surface;
2. Apply UV glue to one of the surfaces, close the two planes, and ensure that the light can penetrate the bonding area from the center to the periphery during illumination;
3. It is recommended to light for about 6 seconds (specific time depends on actual operation). During preliminary positioning, remove the remaining glue on the workpiece and then re light until it is completely cured;
4. The curing time should vary according to different preparation materials, adhesive thickness, and UV intensity. It is recommended that users purchase a UV intensity tester and conduct a light intensity test before bonding to reduce the scrap rate;
5. Temperature also has a slight impact on the activity of UV adhesive, and the curing time should be appropriately extended when the temperature is low;
6. During UV glue operation, materials that need to be bonded should not be forcefully squeezed or repeatedly rubbed, and it is recommended to use fixing tools;
7. When bonding plastic, the content of ultraviolet absorbers in the plastic should be considered. A higher content will seriously affect the transmittance of ultraviolet rays, which will also have a significant impact on the curing efficiency of the adhesive, and even lead to the inability of the adhesive to cure;
8. It is recommended to use low viscosity products for large-scale bonding. When conditions permit, it is best to purchase vacuum equipment and adhere it in a vacuum environment to remove bubbles and improve product yield.
